NewsPlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale to be unveiled on Thursday?
It's looking like Sony's PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale could be revealed this Thursday. Forget waiting until E3 to unveil their rumored cross-over fighting game; we could see the first gameplay footage as early as this week.
GTTV host Geoff Keighley said on Twitter this weekend, "As the tv guide listings say, yes, next Thurs on GTTV we are unveiling a huge new PS3 exclusive with first game footage. More soon!"
Sony hasn't made any official announcement of the game, but it has been long rumored that they are working on their own Smash Bros.-esque fighting game that will feature several characters from the different PlayStation-exclusive universes. Earlier this month an image of a survey asking about the name popped up online; now, with Sony securing the domain name "playstationallstarsbattleroyale.com", it's all but officially confirmed.
"We had so much fun filming the episode and playing the game. I can't wait for everyone to see it," Keighley added.
Now the question is, will it be the same game that French site JeuxVideo plans on revealing in a live video show on May 2nd?
